Chinese automaker BYD has launched two new variants of its electric SUV ATTO 3, priced lower than the MG ZS EV. The new variants have reduced the starting price of the ATTO 3 by approximately Rs 9 lakh, making it a more competitive option in the electric vehicle market.

The ATTO 3 is now available in two battery pack options - 49.92 kWh and 60.48 kWh - with a range of 468 km and 521 km respectively. In comparison, the MG ZS EV has a 50.3 kWh battery pack with a range of 461 km. The Tata Nexon EV has a 40.5 kWh battery pack with a range of 465 km, while the Mahindra XUV400 has a 39.5 kWh battery pack with a range of 456 km.

In terms of power, the ATTO 3 is the most powerful, with a maximum output of 204 horsepower, followed by the MG ZS EV with 176 horsepower, the XUV400 with 150 horsepower, and the Nexon EV with 145 horsepower. All four vehicles have electric motors that power the front wheels.

While the ATTO 3 is priced higher than its competitors, its larger battery pack and more powerful motor make it a more attractive option for those looking for a long-range electric vehicle. The base variant of the ATTO 3 is priced at Rs 25 lakh, while the top variant costs over Rs 34 lakh. In comparison, the MG ZS EV is priced between Rs 19 lakh and Rs 25.44 lakh, the Nexon EV between Rs 17 lakh and Rs 19.49 lakh, and the XUV400 between Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 19.39 lakh.

Overall, the ATTO 3 is a strong contender in the electric vehicle market, offering a longer range and more power than its competitors. While it may be priced higher than some of its rivals, its larger battery pack and more powerful motor make it a more attractive option for those looking for a long-range electric vehicle."
