As the counting of votes for the 2024 bypolls continues, early results are coming in from across the country, providing a snapshot of the political mood in various regions. The by-elections took place for Lok Sabha and state assembly seats, with notable contests in Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, West Bengal, and other states.

Kerala: Priyanka Gandhi Takes Strong Lead in Wayanad

In Kerala, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is securing a commanding lead in the Wayanad Lok Sabha bypoll, marking her debut in electoral politics. After two hours of counting, Priyanka's vote count surpassed 1.65 lakh, with her closest rival, Sathyan Mokeri of the LDF, trailing at 56,929 votes. BJP's Navya Haridas secured third place with 31,018 votes.

Additionally, the ruling LDF is leading in the Chelakkara Assembly bypoll, while the Congress-led UDF is ahead in Palakkad, taking a significant lead over the BJP-led NDA.

Punjab: AAP and Congress Lead in Key Seats
