Aligarh: Discussions of incidents in the country are increasing day by day, creating chaos in the minds of people today, while Dr. Kafeel, who is out on bail in the death of children due to lack of oxygen at the BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur, once again jailed. Dr. Kafeel has been sent to jail in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for delivering an inflammatory speech on 12 December 2019. On the transit remand from Mumbai to Civil Lines Police, Dr. Kafeel reached Aligarh on Friday. The accused was produced in the court from where he was sent to Mathura jail for security reasons after taking him under judicial custody.

According to sources, Dr. Kafeel, who came to the discussion after the death of children in BRD Hospital in Gorakhpur, is accused of inciting students in the name of communalism in the AMU meeting and making objectionable remarks against the Home Minister. On December 12, Dr. Kafeel, a resident of Aligarh, attended the meeting with Yogendra Yadav, President of Swaraj India, at AMU. But on 13 December, the police registered a case of inciting religious sentiments at the Civil Lines police station. After this, the accused Dr. Kafeel was being searched. On Thursday, January 30, 2020, UP STF captured him from Mumbai.

The CO civil line Anil Samanya told that the police team presented the accused from Mumbai and took transit remand in the court and took him by train to Aligarh on Friday evening. The accused was presented in court. It is also being said that the court approved the remand and passed the order to send the accused to judicial custody for 14 days. The police first brought the accused to Aligarh Jail and then, for security reasons, got him admitted to Mathura Jail. The security apparatus was also apprehensive about the ongoing movement in AMU, due to which it was not kept in Aligarh.
