Meerut: There was a huge uproar in Meerut on Friday amid protests across the country over the ongoing Citizenship Amendment Act for the last few days. The villagers blew up 2 police posts including more than 2 dozen police vehicles. Protestors also stoned and fired fiercely. In retaliation, 4 people died due to bullet injuries, while 3-4 people have been injured due to bullet injuries.

Police said that 3 soldiers of the force have also been shot. Many policemen, including DM, SSP, SP City, and ADM City were injured in the stone-pelting. The villagers put a mask on the mouth and threw stones at them and fired bullets with illegal materials. Police-administration was on target of the rebels. Apart from the people who came out to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act, some rhetoric has expressed all the claims of the police-administration.

According to the sources, the loss of crores was reported from this ruckus. RAF personnel BD Shukla, Anuj Kumar, Baljeet Kaur, and constable Ankit Rathi were shot dead in the firing by the protestors. The police was trying to stop the ruckus, but the crowd was very fierce. All protestors were between the ages of 20 and 25 years. The uproar in Meerut on Friday in protest against the CAA destroyed the security system. The grill on the divider from Bhumiya bridge towards Lisadigat was uprooted and thrown into the middle of the road. Police-administration made all efforts to pacify the people, but the crowd became furious. It was told that the worst situation was bad in Hapur Road and Lisadi Gate area, where Bawali had become uncontrollable. The police force kept trying to stop them, but the mob started growing.
