New Delhi: Both the ruling party and the opposition are reacting to the decision at their respective levels after PM Narendra Modi announced the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws. Rajya Sabha MP Rakesh Sinha has compared PM Narendra Modi to Lord Ram. After the decision to withdraw agricultural laws, Rakesh Sinha has said that PM Modi has taken this decision to avoid the same kind of conflict that Lord Ram had taken at that time. He also said that withdrawing a law does not prove its deficiency. Ego and prejudice have no place in a democracy.
Rakesh Sinha has further said that this decision on Guru Parv has given gifts to farmers. Now all the farmers can happily go home and get into their work. Rakesh Sinha has also attacked farmer leader Rakesh Tikait saying that Rakesh Tikait is crossing the Laxman Rekha. He is neither a farmer nor a farmer leader, he is just a puppet whose job is to dance at the behest of others.
Agitating farmers should meditate with a stable mind: According to media reports, after Prime Minister Modi's announcement, Rakesh Sinha tweeted that the agricultural law has been returned but the agitating farmers should introspect with a stable mind and soul.
