Cambodian citizen arrested at Bengaluru airport, 3 wild pig's teeth recovered from bag

Bengaluru: There are many cases of smuggling at international airports these days, these include smuggling of many illegal things like gold, illegal currency, smuggling of drugs. At the same time, the Customs Department is also fully alert to catch these smugglers. A similar case has emerged from the Karnataka capital Banglore.

The CISF has arrested a Cambodian citizen with three teeth of wild boar at the Bengaluru airport. This citizen of Cambodia is being named Sopheep Chan and was going from Bangalore to Varanasi Indies. When Sopheep Chan was conducting a security check at the Bangalore airport, the CISF found these three teeth in the passenger's hand bag. No documents of carrying and keeping these teeth were available with this passenger and after this information was given to the Customs and Wildlife authorities.

Currently, the Cambodian citizen is questioning Customs and Wildlife officials to find out where the teeth of the wild pig were brought from and who are involved in the smuggling.
