Breaking! Canada Withdraws Khalistan Referendum Voting Permission Due to AK-47 Posters

CANADA: In a significant turn of events, Canadian authorities have revoked permission for the 'Khalistan Referendum' organizers to conduct voting at Tamanawis Secondary School in Surrey, British Columbia, scheduled for September 10, according to official reports.

The decision to withdraw approval came in response to the controversial 'Khalistan Referendum' posters, which prominently featured imagery of an AK-47 machine gun and a kirpan. These posters also included images of the school premises.

The Surrey District School Board, in an official statement, expressed its concerns, stating that the event organizers had failed to remove the disturbing images despite repeated attempts to address the issue. The statement emphasized the school district's primary mission of providing quality education and maintaining a safe environment for students and the broader school community. It cited existing agreements, policies, and guidelines, including those related to facility rentals, that are designed to ensure a secure environment for all.

This development comes in the wake of last year's proposal by the Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) for the 'Khalistan Referendum,' which took place in Mississauga, near Toronto, on November 6. Despite India's objections to the controversial referendum, Canada had initially declined to acknowledge it.

Notably, the first 'Khalistan Referendum' exercise occurred on September 18, 2022, in Brampton, where over 100,000 Canadian Sikhs actively participated in the voting process, organized by the pro-Khalistani group SFJ.

It is worth mentioning that the SFJ was banned in India in 2019 for its unlawful activities, as it actively advocates for a Punjab independence referendum to establish a separate Khalistan. The Khalistan referendum represents the demand for the creation of a distinct nation separate from Punjab.
