Can't put a price on human life says Rajnath Singh at 'Bharat Ke Veer' launch

New Delhi [India] January 20 (NT): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday stated that what the government does for the families of the Indian defense force casualties will always seem less as one cannot put a price on a human life.

Addressing at the inauguration of 'Bharat Ke Veer' graphic novel series on assassination Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) soldiers, the Union Minister stated, "Whatever we do for the families of defence casualties, it will always be less. No matter how much monetary fund we provide, you will agree with me "Manushya ki zindagi ko paise ke aadhar par uski keemat nhi aaki jaa sakti" (One cannot put a price on a human life)".

Singh added that the people of India have vowed their hold up to 'Bharat Ke Veer' initiative in great numbers.

"Each and every citizen of India is a patriot. I believe at least Rs one crore should be given to the families of the deceased soldiers. There are individuals who contribute regularly to Bharat Ke Veer website. Those who have a big heart are the real rich people. People with big hearts work to bring happiness in others' lives", Singh further said.

Singh on his twitorr handle shared Akhay Kuma’s  post and haild Khiladi  as saying “Akshayji, @akshaykumar you deserve a special mention and a big thank you for your efforts and continuous support to @BharatKeVeer”, Singh tweeted.

 Worth mentioning here Rs. 12.93 crores was contributed by Akshay kumar’s initiatve as he informed that

“No amount of gratitude is enough for our soldiers. We managed to raise Rs. 12.93 crores today! Grateful to all the people who came and showed their support at the #BharatKeVeer Anthem launch. Special thank you to Hon. @rajnathsingh ji for this platform”, Khiladi Akshay kumar tweeted

The Union Minister Singh further urged to the people to put into the 'Bharat Ke Veer' initiative and support the families of India's real Rockies. (NT)
