Seven of the top 10 companies in the Indian stock market BSE index Sensex saw an increase in market capitalization (market cap) by Rs 1,76,014.51 crore last week. Last week, HDFC Bank was the biggest gainer in terms of market cap. The market valuations of Reliance Industries (RIL), Hindustan Unilever (HUL), HDFC (HDFC), ITC, Kotak Mahindra Bank (Kotak Mahindra Bank) and ICICI Bank (ICICI Bank) rose in the week ended Friday. On the other hand, the market capitalization of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Bharti Airtel and Infosys declined. HDFC Bank's market capitalization rose by Rs 61,612.11 crore to Rs 5,21,660.14 crore during the week under review.

For your information, let us tell you that the market cap of ICICI Bank increased by Rs 26,487.04 crore to reach Rs 2,15,029.01 crore. HDFC's market capitalization increased by Rs 24,733.64 crore to Rs 2,87,407.32 crore.

If you do not know, then tell that last week, the market capitalization of Reliance Industries (RIL) increased by Rs 21,300.4 crore to Rs 9,28,849.39 crore. Hindustan Unilever's market valuation increased by Rs 16,093.85 crore to Rs 4,83,262.07 crore. The market position of ITC reached Rs 2,42,710.11 crore with an increase of Rs 13,644.38 crore during the same period. Kotak Mahindra Bank's market capitalization increased by Rs 12,143.09 crore to Rs 2,34,192.24 crore in the week ended on Friday. At the same time, Bharti Airtel's market valuation decreased by Rs 22,149.56 crore to Rs 3,01,364.99 crore in the same period. TCS lost Rs 17,786.3 crore in the previous week in terms of market capitalization and the company's market valuation fell to Rs 7,39,801.41 crore.
