Senior Congress leaders and cabinet ministers of Punjab fiercely attacked the Akali Dal after it supported the decisions being taken against the Punjab, farmers, Sikhs and the states and by the Modi government. Congress leaders said that the Akali Dal is an equal partner in the BJP's attempts to strangle the federal structure, so Sukhbir Badal should apologize.

For your information, let us tell you that in a common press statement, cabinet ministers Trupt Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Gurpreet Singh Kangar, Sukhbinder Singh Sukh Sarkaria and Balbir Singh Sidhu said that Sukhbir Badal proved that by advocating the anti-farmer ordinances of the Center It has been said that he has mortgaged his ideology to the BJP for the central wager of Harsimrat Badal. The Akali Dal and the Badal family have spent their entire age in political loaves with the claims of state rights and themselves being farmer-friendly. Ever since Harsimrat Badal became a Union Minister in the Modi government for six years, the Akali Dal has surrendered to the BJP. This is not the first time the Akalis have supported the BJP's anti-Punjab decision.

When the NDA government brought the anti-minority law CAA, the Akalis had voted in its favor. The decision to impose GST on the langars of Gurudwaras including Shri Darbar Sahib Amritsar also weighed on the fate of the Akali Dal-BJP. The Akalis also remained silent on the statements of BJP leaders who abolished the minimum support price of crops. The same has happened to the extent when the BJP government brought an anti-farmer ordinance, the Akali Dal came out in support of it. The ministers said that Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Punjab Congress President Sunil Jakhar opposed these ordinances as the voice of the farmers of the state and Sukhbir Badal stood in favor of the BJP. At the same time, the head of the Akali Dal, which is called the party representing the Sikhs, was also silent on the reports of the Sikh farmers being demolished by the BJP government in UP. Congress ministers asked Sukhbir Badal to apologize to Punjabis for taking a stand in favor of the anti-farmer ordinance. He said that earlier also the Akali Dal was making a mute spectator on the decisions taken by the BJP government of Gujarat against Sikh farmers.
