Some time ago, the messaging app WhatsApp  introduced a new feature that will enable you to make payments through UPI from the app itself,  not only that now hackers are taking advantage of this feature to deceive people. Let us tell you that with the help of QR code used for 'WhatsApp Payments', people's money has been stolen. This QR code can be made comfortably for anyone who is a victim of scam.

To carry oaut this scam, hackers have also started demanding users to scan the QR code even when the user has to receive the money. Let me tell you that this is just a trap and you do not have to scan any QR code while taking money. In this way, hackers have to  get the details of your phone, then they easily cheat you.

According to the news,  even when you are making a payment to someone, you should check  twice which UPI ID you are giving money to. It may be that the fraudster sends you a QR code on WhatsApp, after scanning which you have to take care of the feed of your banking app's MPIN there.  You might even know, you can also share your profile through QR codes without giving a number on WhatsApp. In such a situation, keep in mind with whom you are sharing the QR code of your profile because if the wrong person goes to this code, he will be able to save your contact and then cheat you.
