South Africa runner Caster Semenya is now eyeing the 200m gold at the Tokyo Olympics. She is banned from participating in her favorite race 800 meters due to the high amount of testosterone hormones in which she is the Olympic champion.

According to reports, the International Athletics Federation (IAAF) had banned Semenya's running in the category in her women's category citing the high amount of hormones in her body. She filed an application against this in a sports tribunal, which was turned down.

These changes can happen if IPL will happen this time

Semenya has announced to participate in the new race on Instagram a day ago. She also told herself that she will not put any core effort in qualifying in 200 meters. She completed the 200-meter race in Pretoria in 23.49 seconds, which is 0.69 seconds more than the Olympic qualifying time. The 29-year-old South African runner cannot compete in the 800-meter favorite race until she has reduced her testosterone hormones.
