Today, the Supreme Court has declined the petition of getting compensation from both Karnataka and Tamil Nadu Governments in relation to the loss of property during Cauvery dispute.
Earlier,Tamil Nadu based activist Siva Kumar, filed a plea in the supreme court on the same matter.
The Tamil Nadu Government on January 9 got Rs. 2,480 crore compensation from Karnataka government as it didn't release the water in the state.
