CBSE 10th Result 2019: 97 students in Top 3 ranks

Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CBSE Class 10 Result 2019. The results were released today at 3:00 PM – May 6, 2019, on the official websites cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. In an astonishing result, 13 students have scored the first rank with 99.9%, 25 students have scored the second rank with 99.6% and 59 students have scored the third rank with 99.4% - making a grand total of 97 students who have scored 1, 2 and 3r rank, respectively.

In the list of toppers, of the total 97 - 64 were girls. Overall also, girls have performed better than boys with 2.31%. Overall, the pass percentage of girls was 92.45% whereas that of boys was 90.14%. The pass percentage for transgender candidates is 94.74%. The numbers don't stop at toppers. 57,256 candidates have scored above 95% and 2,25,143 candidates have scored 90% and above.

On a positive note, 275 students under Special needs category have score 90% and above. Dilwin Prince from Kerala has topped under the CWSN category with 493 marks. Savan Vishoy and Irene Tresa Mathews are second and third with 492 and 491 marks respectively. The complete list of 97 toppers would be shared in a short while. 

In order to check the result,  visit the official websites cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in. Then on the homepage, click on 'Class 10 Result 2019'. Then Fill in your registration number or roll number and other admit card details in the provided fields and click on 'Submit'. Once your result appears on the screen, download it and take a printout for future reference.
