The National Testing Agency (NTA) has firmly refuted claims of a question paper leak in the NEET-UG medical entrance exam. According to the NTA, reports circulating about the leak are completely unfounded. Stressing the meticulous handling of every question paper, the agency assured that there has been no breach.

Sadhana Parashar, Senior Director at NTA, emphasized that their security protocols leave no room for such incidents. She clarified that purported images of leaked question papers shared on social media are unrelated to the actual papers used in the exam.

"To quell any doubts, it's important to note that every single question paper has been properly managed," Parashar stated. She highlighted the strict measures in place during exams, including the prohibition of external access once the test begins and constant CCTV surveillance.

Addressing concerns over photos circulating online, Parashar reaffirmed that they bear no resemblance to the authentic exam papers.

The NEET-UG exam took place across 4,750 centers in 571 cities, including 14 cities overseas. Despite an incident in Rajasthan where incorrect papers were distributed, affecting 120 candidates, the NTA assured the public of the exam's integrity. Affected candidates were given the opportunity to retake the exam under proper conditions.

The NTA's swift response to the situation underscores its commitment to upholding the integrity of the examination process. By promptly addressing concerns and taking corrective measures, such as the re-conduction of the exam for affected candidates, the agency demonstrates its dedication to ensuring fairness and transparency in the NEET-UG assessment. Moving forward, the NTA remains vigilant in safeguarding against any potential threats to the examination's credibility, reaffirming its role as a trusted authority in conducting nationwide assessments.
