New Delhi: Demand for cancellation of CBSE board exam has increased rapidly due to the increasing cases of Corona again. According to various media reports, the government and the CBSE board are considering extending the date of the examinations. According to the pre-set schedule, the board exam of CBSE 10th and 12th is scheduled to start from May 4, 2021, but due to the fast-growing cases of Corona, the demand for cancellation of board examinations is also increasing rapidly.
Punjab, UP, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra have postponed the board examinations due to the increasing cases of corona. The dates of board examinations in these states will be announced later. At the same time, the school and college have been closed again. After Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, now her brother Rahul Gandhi has also expressed concern about the CBSE board examinations. Along with this, MNS chief Raj Thackeray, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, actress Raveena Tandon have also demanded to cancel the board exams and promote students to the next classes without exams in Maharashtra.
Raveena Tandon has advocated not to conduct board exams in view of the growing corona cases in the country, she said via Twitter that this time is stressful and it may be risky for children to take such exams.
