On Wednesday, the government can take a decision in the case of remaining examinations of CBSE class X and XII. On Tuesday, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the Supreme Court that the expert committee is in the process of deliberations on this issue and a decision will be taken soon, it is possible that a decision will be taken by the evening of 24 June. The court, recording this statement of the Solicitor General in the order, postponed the hearing of the case till June 25.

Some parents have filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding that the CBSE XII examinations be cancelled due to the Corona epidemic. However, the issue is also related to the remaining examinations of class 10. Only the CBSE Board of Class X has survived the examinations of children living in certain areas in Delhi, where the examinations were postponed due to riots during the examinations. Later the corona epidemic spread and examinations were not conducted.

On Tuesday, the parents' petition was heard in a virtual court of Justice AM Khanwilkar, Dinesh Maheshwari and Sanjeev Khanna through video conferencing. The petitioner's lawyer Rishi Malhotra said that the corona infection has spread, there is a risk with children's health. The remaining examinations should be cancelled and the children should be passed by giving average marks based on pre-board or internal assessment. On the last hearing, the Supreme Court had asked the government to take a decision in this matter.
