Jaipur: Political arrogance has started in Rajasthan for the post of President of Congress State Unit. Congress state president and deputy CM Sachin Pilot said, 'Whether or not I stay on the state president of Congress, it is up to Congress president Sonia Gandhi to decide.' Pilot's statement is being seen as a response to what CM Ashok Gehlot said before the Rajya Sabha elections that the new generation has not been rubbed, due to which he has less faith in the party.
Deputy CM Sachin Pilot said that today is the death anniversary of Sanjay Gandhi. Sanjay had set an example by strengthening the Congress party in a very short time. Sachin Pilot said that I am looking for the leaders of the fight. In Rajasthan, the Congress workers who have fought for the party will be given political appointments. Sonia Gandhi will decide on whether we have to remain in the post of Congress state president.
Regarding the Rajya Sabha elections, Pilot said that both our candidates have received full votes. Votes were obtained based on the strength of numbers. The MLA of our party stayed with us and what we claimed was proved correct. Whatever was said before the Rajya Sabha election, there was no political basis for it was doubted.
