NEW DELHI: Delhi Police Crime Branch today cracked the case related to CBSE Paper Leak for Class XII Economics paper after it arrested three people from Himachal Pradesh. “Three, including a teacher, clerk & support staff, arrested from Himachal Pradesh over the leak of XII class Economics paper which was leaked in the handwritten form”, ANI tweeted.

As per reports of TOI, Centre superintendent Rakesh, Clerk Amit and peon Ashok of DAV School in Himachal Pradesh's Una district were arrested by the Crime Branch, a senior Delhi Police officer informed.

The three prime accused were brought to the national capital Delhi from Una and after inquiring they were arrested, the officer said. Inquiry into the case had exposed that the paper was leaked in handwritten form.

Delhi Police special commissioner will hold a press conference at 3.15 today where it will inform the media about the latest development in the case. On April 1, one Board official was called off from service and three people were arrested by Delhi Police Crime Branch, including two teachers of a private school, for their alleged involvement in the leak of the Class 12 paper.

All the three - Rishabh (29) and Rohit (26), teachers at Mother Khajani Convent School, a private school in Bawana, and Tauqeer (26), a tutor at a private coaching centre there - were detained, the police said. The police zeroed in on Tauqeer through 10 WhatsApp numbers, four of which were provided by the CBSE in its complaint, and used for circulating the leaked paper, another police officer said.
