New Delhi: India's Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat has said that the Indian Army and security forces are not only protecting borders but are also playing an important role towards stability in neighbouring countries as per the needs of the country. CDS Bipin Rawat said security needs are constantly on the rise. Even then, India is protecting not only international borders, LAC, LOC but also strategically important neighbours.

CDS Journal Bipin Rawat was speaking at an event on Emerging Defence Exports. He said India is not only pursuing its relations with the US but also reviving traditional relations with Russia. He said russia and the US have strong and mature relationships with both.

CDS Rawat said that the structure of the Indian security forces is such that it is capable of rapidly transforming itself as per the requirement. And they are protecting the country by enhancing coordination at the command level. The needs of India's defence sector are constantly growing. Both the Government of India and the security forces are preferring Make in India. We are fully dedicated to the fact that India's war will win India with its own weapons.
