Bhopal: When the mortal remains of Group Captain Varun Singh arrived at home, his mother Uma Singh placed a hand on the shoulder of her daughter-in-law Gitanjali Singh. Let me tell you that the Group Captain's lifeless remains were held for a time in Bhopal's Sun City Colony. After that, he was transferred to a military hospital. An Army plane carried the mortal remains of Group Captain Varun Singh from Bengaluru to Bhopal airport at 2.35 p.m. on Thursday, as you are all aware. The captain was honoured by ministers and MLAs from the Madhya Pradesh government.

The mortal remains were then taken to his house in Sun City Colony in Bhopal in an army vehicle. The mortal remains were taken home after performing Tilak Vandana here.
