The festival of Guru Purnima is celebrated every year. This year, the festival is being celebrated on 24th July. Guru Purnima is celebrated every year on the full moon date of the month of Ashadh. On this day, the disciples worship their Gurus. It is also known as Vyas Purnima. This is because it was on this day that Maharshi Vedvyas, the first guru of Sanatan Dharma, was born. It was on this date that Vyasji first imparted knowledge of the Scriptures to his disciples.

Guru Purnima worship method: Yes, you should get up early in the morning on this day. After that, you should take a bath and wear clean clothes. Now build a diameter back by laying a white cloth in a clean place. Then install the idol of Guru Vyas on it and offer them roli, sandalwood, flowers, fruits, and prasad. Now chant the mantra 'Guruparamparasiddhyartham Vyaspujam karishye' and chant the Surya Mantra. Then meditate on your guru and also worship Lord Vishnu on this day. On this day, panjiri of flour should be made and offered.
