Patna: A team has been sent by the Central government to evict Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president Chirag Paswan from a bungalow in Delhi. In fact, Chirag is still staying in the bungalow allotted in the name of his late father and former Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan and has not vacated it even after several notices have been issued.

Sources have informed about the central government sending the team on Wednesday. He said the Directorate of Estates, which comes under the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has sent a team of officials to implement the eviction order issued to Chirag Paswan last year. Officials said the bungalow at 12 Janpath is earmarked for Union ministers and those living in government accommodation have been instructed to vacate it. The house has been the official address of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), which has now split into two factions between Chirag Paswan and his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras after the demise of former Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan.

This accommodation was regularly used to organize organizational meetings and other related events of the party. Chirag Paswan had said that his father's memories have been associated with this bungalow.
