Mumbai: India has now become the most populous country in the world. India is about 3 million ahead in terms of population leaving China behind. Some people are also expressing concern about this. Meanwhile, Ajit Pawar, Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, has given a shocking statement. They say that the central government should use its power to withdraw the membership of those MPs and MLAs who have 3 or more children.

Let us inform that, Ajit Pawar has given this statement while addressing a social program in Baramati on Sunday. The leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) said, 'The population of our country is increasing rapidly day by day. When Vilasrao Deshmukh was in the state, it was decided to disqualify those public representatives who have more than three children. We took this decision very carefully.'

Pawar further said that, but some people want to know why even those MPs and MLAs who have 3 children are not removed. I want to tell those people that only the central government has the power to disqualify MLAs and MPs. The central government should use its power to disqualify such MPs and MLAs.
