For this, you just have to make a habit of taking the GST bill on the purchase of any item or use of the service. The government has planned to start a lottery from April 1 as part of measures to prevent fraud in Goods and Services Tax (GST).

According to this arrangement, every month, every bill of the transaction between the shopkeeper and the buyer will be included in the lucky draw. On giving information, an official has told that in this lottery, customers can get a reward of up to 1 crore rupees. According to the news agency PTI, under this, a reward of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1 crore will be given in the lucky draw every month.

The GST network will have a mobile app for this. To participate in this lottery, consumers will have to scan the receipt of any purchase and upload it on the app. The app will be available for Android and iOS i.e. Apple consumers by the end of this month. The official has said that this lottery scheme has been thought to encourage customers to ask for a bill/receipt for every purchase from the shops.
