New Delhi: There has been a tremendous increase in corona cases once again. Around 40,000 new cases are being registered every day for nearly a week. In view of the festival like Holi, there is also a danger of gathering crowds in the markets. Amidst all these movements, new variants of coronavirus have been found in the country, which has raised the government's concern. At the same time, several states have now stepped up strictly, taking decisions on new guidelines ranging from lockdown.

In India, cases of double-mutant variants of coronavirus have increased. The Government of India has reported that 771 cases have been reported in the country, which relates to new variants of coronavirus. Of these, 736 cases have been found in the UK corona variant, 34 cases South Africa variants, one case Brazilian variants. New variant cases of corona have also been reported in Maharashtra, Kerala, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. Now, the central government has since instructed the state governments to increase the strictness.

The central government has again approached the state governments amid the rising speed of the coronavirus. The Additional Secretary of the Union Health Ministry has written to the states that in the midst of rising corona cases, the state governments can consider it if they want to tighten up at the local level.
