New Delhi: Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said in a meeting with state governments that there is no shortage of corona vaccine yet. Vaccines are being made available in 4 days to big states and 7 days to small states. Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that in such a situation, if any state feels an additional need for vaccine, then that state can discuss this issue with the central government.
Harsh Vardhan told the state governments that the central government had provided a good amount of funds to the state governments for the corona epidemic. State governments should make good use of it. Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that for the supply of oxygen, the Center has released the calendar till April 30 and a clear blueprint has also been presented on the availability of oxygen. He further added that, from the Center, ventilators were made available to the states last year for corona patients, and recently ventilators have been sought by other states including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh To be completed soon.
The Union Minister said that the shortage of beds in hospitals from the states said that in many states such a media has come out that there are no beds in the hospitals and people have been facing huge problems due to not getting beds. He said that there are 4,67,974 beds in 2,084 hospitals specially designed for the corona epidemic. Along with this, beds have also been arranged for corona patients.
