New Delhi: Politics is also intensifying on the issue of tension between India and China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and the martyrdom of 20 soldiers. Before the all-party meeting convened by PM Narendra Modi, former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi had raised many questions.

In the Modi government, Minister of State for Sports and Youth Welfare, Kiran Rijiju has targeted Rahul Gandhi. Rijiju retweeting the tweet containing Rahul Gandhi's video, saying that it is no surprise that he (Rahul) goes to JNU and sits with those who celebrate the death of our soldiers. Kiran Rijiju has said that whenever a military challenge arises in front of India, at the same time this man questions the army. It is noteworthy that 20 soldiers were martyred in the conflict with the Chinese soldiers in the Galvan Valley on the LAC. Ever since this incident, Rahul Gandhi, the former national president of the Congress, has been continuously attacking the government.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, while answering Rahul's questions, had said that the army soldiers were not unarmed, but they did not use weapons while following the treaty. At the same time, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra had spoken to Rahul Gandhi and his mother Sonia Gandhi even as a Chinese agent.
