New Delhi: Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said on Tuesday that the rights of all communities, including minority communities in the country, are fully protected, but some are conspiring against the unity of the country through propaganda and fake news. He also said that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, all communities are developing and no one is being discriminated against.

Naqvi made this remark at a time when Islamic countries' organization OIC criticized alleged 'Islamophobia' in India. Naqvi told the press that, "One thing is clear, secularism and harmony is not a fashion for the Indians, but a passion. This is the power of our country. This power has protected the religious and social rights of all people including the minorities of the country."

Naqvi further said that India is a paradise for Muslims and all minority communities. He said that without appeasement under the leadership of PM Modi, everyone is being linked with development in the spirit of empowerment. According to Naqvi, even in times of crisis some people are engaged in a conspiracy to weaken this power of the country through propaganda and fake news.
