New Delhi: Hitting out at the Centre over the Pegasus issue, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday alleged that the Centre is intercepting every Indian's mobile. He also demanded a dialogue on the issue. He further accused the Central government of not allowing talks on the Pegasus issue in Parliament due to the monsoon session. His remarks came after opposition leaders joined the farmers at Jantar Mantar in Delhi to protest against the new agricultural laws.

Talking to reporters at Jantar Mantar, Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi said, "Today all opposition parties have gathered here (Jantar Mantar) to extend their support against the 'Black Law' (agricultural laws). We want a dialogue on Pegasus, but the Centre is not allowing it to happen." He said the effort to prevent talks on the issue is an attempt to stop every Indian from talking.

The TMC, BSP, and AAP did not participate in the protest by the opposition. Opposition leaders who came to Jantar Mantar to support the farmers raised slogans of 'Kisan Bachao, Bharat Bachao'. Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Ambika Soni, Gaurav Gogoi, Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena, Manoj Jha of RJD, T Shiva of DMK, and others participated in the protest today.
