Ahead of the Budget, The central government has cut prices for jet fuel, also known as Aviation Turbine Fuel, ATF , by Rs.1,221 per kiloliter in Delhi and the surrounding region. This move comes just before the expected Interim Budget for 2024. It marks the fourth consecutive month of reductions in jet fuel prices, as reported by the media.
Aviation Turbine Fuel is dispensed from specially designed refuellers, which are driven up to parked airplanes and helicopters.
Following this adjustment, domestic airlines will now pay Rs.1,00,772.17 per kiloliter in Delhi, Rs.1,09,797.33 in Kolkata, Rs.94,246.00 in Mumbai, and Rs.1,04,840.19 in Chennai for ATF, according to the same report.
