HYDERABAD: Telangana's minister for information technology and industry, K. T. Rama Rao, (KTR) has described the Telangana state "India's most successful startup" and said that the state development model can be replicated throughout the country.
KTR delivered the keynote address at Sunday's Harvard India Conference 2022. During the one-hour session, he highlighted Telangana's overall development, the Hyderabad IT ecosystem, the state's pro-business policies, and investment opportunities.
Minister addressed the conference on the subject "If I'm going to talk about Turbocharging India in 2030, I should start with Turbocharging Telangana in 2014," the Minister stated in his opening remarks. "By 2030, I want to see an India that is world leader in nearly every category. I am convinced that cues for "Turbocharging India@ 2030" can be gleaned from "Turbocharging Telangana since 2014," as KTR said.
KTR went on to say that the schemes and policies being implemented in Telangana should be replicated throughout the country to accelerate India's development. "What Telangana has accomplished can be replicated at the national level as well. Without a doubt, the Telangana Model of Development can be replicated throughout India "KTR added.
