Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman, who rose to great fame after playing the role of Black Panther / King T'challa in Marvel Cinematic Universe films, died after battling colon cancer for nearly four years. He was 43 years old. Chadwick Boseman is known for his performances in the films 42, Captain America: Civil War, Marshall, Avengers: Infinity War, 21 Bridge, The 5 Bloods.

His upcoming film Ma Rainey's Black Bottom has not been released yet. Condoling the death of the actor, Prithviraj Sukumaran shared a picture of Chadwick and expressed his condolences to his family and well-wishers. On the other hand, Nivin Pauly wrote, "Heartbroken to hear of the demise of #ChadwickBoseman. You left us soon! Rest in Peace King! "

Also announcing the news of his demise, his family released a statement on social media, following which fans of the actor started sending condolence messages. In the statement, Chadwick's family wrote, "This sad news has to be told with sadness that Chadwick Boseman has passed away." Chadwick was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016 and has struggled with it over the past 4 years as it progressed to stage IV. Therefore it was not possible to save him. His death has hurt his fans and family.
