Ahmedabad: On the auspicious occasion of Diwali in Gujarat, people have been relaxed about the traffic rules for the time being. State Home Minister Harsh Singhvi has informed that till October 27, no fine of any kind will be collected through the traffic police. However, he will be stopped for not wearing a helmet or breaking a traffic signal, but instead of collecting a fine, flowers will be given.

Harsh Singhvi said that the festival of Diwali is starting, and people go from the streets to go shopping to visit the temple. For this, from October 21 to October 27, no fine of any kind will be collected through the traffic police. He will be stopped for not wearing a helmet or breaking a traffic signal, but for 75 years of independence, such people will be given flowers instead of collecting the fine. Actually, on the festival of Diwali, the process of people moving from one place to another increase. Due to this various provisions are made by the government. Crowds are seen everywhere on this festival. There is a crowd of people in the market and heavy traffic is being seen on the roads.

Let us tell you that assembly elections are proposed in Gujarat at the end of this year. In such a situation, political pundits are also seeing this announcement by linking it with the election. Which is being called an attempt to woo the public. Before the Gujarat elections, BJP, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are putting full emphasis. On one hand, AAP is throwing its strength, on the other hand BJP has also started cultivating the people through its work.
