In the city of Pune, Maharashtra, a 'Maha-aarti' and 'Hawan pujan' are currently underway at the renowned Siddhivinayak temple, seeking a prosperous landing for Chandrayaan-3 on the moon's southern pole.

As per the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Chandrayaan-3 is slated to touch down on the lunar surface today, at approximately 18:04 hours IST.

In its most recent update concerning the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3, ISRO affirmed that the mission is proceeding as planned, with regular system checks underway. The organization also unveiled an array of close-up lunar images. At the Hanuman temple in Aliganj, Uttar Pradesh, devotees congregated and conducted Aarti to venerate the imminent landing of Chandrayaan on the moon. A multitude of devotees partook in the Aarti, fervently praying for Chandrayaan 3's prosperous landing.
