Members of the Shiv Sena in Pune also converged at the Siddhivinayak temple, their hopes pinned on the delicate touchdown of the lunar spacecraft.

As per the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Chandrayaan-3 is slated to touch down on the lunar surface today, at approximately 18:04 hours IST.

In its most recent update concerning the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3, ISRO affirmed that the mission is proceeding as planned, with regular system checks underway. The organization also unveiled an array of close-up lunar images. These images are aiding the lander module in determining its precise location (latitude and longitude) by cross-referencing them with an onboard lunar reference map.

From the Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh to the United States, special rituals, prayers, and ceremonies are being conducted to invoke blessings for the success of Chandrayaan-3.
Across India, diverse religious ceremonies are taking place to beseech divine favor for the pioneering Chandrayaan-3 mission.

Prior to the Aarti, devotees conducted Havan Pujan to bestow their wishes for Chandrayaan 3's triumph at the Ghat.
