Let's know what is the difference between cheetah and leopard and how can we identify them.

Difference in body texture of cheetah and leopard:-

Cheetah has longer shoulders than leopards. They look taller than leopards. The average weight of a cheetah is 72 kg. Cheetahs can run at a maximum speed of 120 kilometres per hour. At the same time, leopards are the smallest of the big cats, although they are heavier and stronger than cheetahs. Leopard weighs up to 100 kg. Leopards are more muscular cats than cheetahs. Leopards use their immense strength to ambush and capture prey. Leopards carry their prey to the tree after killing it to protect their food.

This is the difference between leopard and cheetah skin:

Let us tell you that there is also a difference between cheetah and leopard skin. Where the skin of the cheetah is light yellow and off-white colour. So the skin of the leopard is yellow in colour. There are round or oval black spots on the skin of the cheetah. So the size of the spots on leopard skin is not fixed. There is also a difference between the claws of the cheetah and the leopard. Cheetah's claws are according to running at a fast pace. The back legs of the cheetah are bigger and stronger than the front so that they can run at speed. Cheetah's claws do not shrink because they have to move fast while running. At the same time, the front legs of the leopard are bigger than the back. Due to this, they pull the prey and easily take it to the tree. Their big legs are also useful while clawing prey.
