‘Follow your passion!’ ‘Do what your heart says!’ Our ears are ringing with these words, as we have been hearing them since childhood. But oftentimes, we have to turn over a new leaf, leaving our passion behind. Chef Rupal Parab, aka Bhiva Rajan Parab, is one such individual who started his journey as a DJ and then turned into one of the most admired chefs.

While he loved DJing, his parents wanted him to achieve something else. Thus, he chooses to enroll in hotel management and explore his culinary skills. Rupal Parab was always passionate about everything he did. After completing his course from IHM, Goa, he started working as a trainer and later as a chef at the JW Marriott Sahar in Mumbai. After working here, he was then approached by a renowned hotel in Qatar.

Rupal Parab took a leap of faith and started his new journey in a new city. He put his heart into his work, and his flavorful dishes were winning over locals, including a family member of Qatar's King, who later offered him a job in his restaurant. This was straight out of a dream! Currently, Rupal Parab has embarked on a new culinary journey in the Land of the Long White Cloud, New Zealand, where he is employed by GKM Hospitality.

From Goa to Mumbai to Qatar and now New Zealand, this young chef is sweeping the world with his unparalleled skills. He not only uses the right flavours but also adds his own creative touches to the meals, which make them even more delicious.

Just at the age of 21, Rupal Parab ascended the ladder of success and achieved multiple titles. He is listed among Asia's top 20 chefs by a prominent New York press agency. In 2020, he was listed as one of the 500 most influential people around the globe, alongside names such as AR Rahman, Sonu Nigam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, etc. The chef is now aiming to create a series of cooking shows that will tantalize taste buds and satisfy the culinary cravings of audiences globally. We wish him good luck with the same.
