Tamil Nadu: At the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) general council meeting on Thursday, all 23 resolutions were rejected.

The next general council meeting of the AIADMK will be held on July 11, 2022, at 9.15 am, according to AIADMK Presidium Chairman Tamil Magan Hussain.

Supporters of O Panneerselvam staged a walkout from the meeting after the resolutions were rejected because they wanted the dual leadership structure in the party to continue.

"All 23 resolutions were rejected by all members, and the General Committee's lone request was for a single leader. All of them, along with resolutions for single leadership, would be adopted at the ensuing General Committee meeting "said KP Munusamy, deputy coordinator for the AIADMK. He added that all 23 resolutions and one leadership resolution would be adopted at the upcoming General Council Meeting.

At Shrivaaru Venkatachalapathy Palace in Vanagaram, Chennai, the AIADMK General Council met.
