Apart from these, measurement of temperature every day, centralized accommodation, organizing matches without spectators, locker rooms are being considered at least on the days of officers and exercises. Aleister said that if the USTA Board decides to hold the US Open, then it will be according to its fixed place and predetermined schedule. The main draw of the US Open is to begin on 31 August. He said, "We are still focusing on organizing the US Open in a safe environment at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York on due dates. Alternate places or alternate dates are not yet being considered.
Alastair said that the decision regarding this would be taken in mid or late June. All the tournaments of ATP, WTA and International Tennis Federation have been postponed since March due to Corona virus. The French Open has been postponed until September instead of May while Wimbledon has been canceled for the first time since 1945.
