When Team India was going through a difficult period, in such a situation, Sourav Ganguly as the player took command of the team and raised Team India again, not only stood, but out of the difficult situation. Shortly after the draw, they reached the final of the World Cup. Sourav Ganguly remained as a player. After the retirement of cricket, when there was a calamity on Indian cricket control, Ganguly took over as president and now Corona's crisis has come over the entire cricket world. Coronaviurs have almost ruined cricket. Most of the boards have reached the brink of Bengali. No one knows when the cricket grounds will be buzzing. When everything is fine, how can cricket be brought back and how can we compensate for this loss? For this, every board in the world is looking towards India that only a person from here can save cricket and there is no more tested name than Sourav Ganguly in the issue of saving cricket.

ICC elections to be held soon: The way for the election of the International Cricket Council (ICC) has been cleared and along with this the chair of the current chairman Shashank Manohar has also been endangered. A few days ago it has become clear from the 2/3 majority of the ICC member board that the term of Shashank Manohar will not be extended and elections will be held as soon as possible. The path of ICC elections has been cleared.

Everyone expects BCCI: This is a difficult time for cricket around the world. Everyone knows that the game is trying in many ways at this time. Financially has also become weak. If cricket does not start soon, then many boards will come to the brink of bankruptcy and keeping this in mind, the ICC is preparing to work on the blueprint of new administrators. At the moment cricket is going through, in such a situation, the eyes of every board are on the BCCI that they can get out of the difficult problem. In such a situation, everyone is looking towards the BCCI as neutral president.

Ganguly's term ends in July: Ganguly is considered a strong contender for the post of ICC chairman, as his term as BCCI president ends in July this year and he is then given a cooling-off period for three years. will go on. Shashank will leave the post of ICC chairman in July and the ICC elections will be held at the same time. Ganguly served in the Bengal Cricket Board for 5 years and 3 months. However, BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. The petition said that the BCCI had approved the extension of tenure of its office bearers by amending the rule to go to the cooling-off period at the AGM held on 1 December last year. According to the Board's amendment, the rule of Ganguly to go on cooling period will be applicable when he gets six years in BCCI. If the BCCI petition is rejected, Ganguly will be a strong contender for the post.

Indian Chairman of ICC: Before 2016, there was also the Chairman of ICC, but abolished this post in 2016 and since then only the Chairman and CEO takes over. The post of chairman in the ICC was established in 2014. In 2014, Narayanaswamy Srinivasan became the first chairman of the ICC, the former chairman of the BCCI. He held this post for 1 year 149 days. After this, in 2015, Shashank Manohar took the post and he was still taking responsibility for it, but now his chair has started moving.
