The trailer of Deepika Padukone's film Chhapak which is based on the story acid  Laxmi Agarwal, the victim of acid attack, has been released. The trailer begins with the Nirbhaya case where the reporter is seen saying that it has become even more necessary to convey the story of Malati to the public. The trailer depicts the full struggle of Malti, which every girl has to suffer from acid attack. At the end of the trailer, Deepika, who became Malti, says - She changed my face, not my mind. This dialogue of Deepika makes the story stand out. Deepika Padukone has given her best in this film. With this, her makeup in the film also looks real. She really seems to be an acid attack survivor.

It is quite interesting to see Deepika playing such a character for the first time. #ChhapaakTrailer has been in the top trending since the trailer's launch on social media. Not only this, the fans are looking at Deepika in such a manner that such films need to be made in Hindi cinema. Fans are now describing this Deepika film as a superhit and the best film of the year 2020. 

The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar. Earlier, Meghna has also directed a superhit film like Razi. The film is based on the life of Laxmi Aggarwal, an acid attack survivor from Chhapak, Delhi. Through this film, Deepika Padukone is going to be seen in the role of an acid attack Survivor for the first time. On March 25, Deepika released the poster of the film, which was well liked by the people. After which people were anxious to see the trailer. For the sake of information, most of the shooting of Chhapak has been done in Delhi. Many pictures of the film's set have gone viral on social media. This is Deepika's first film after her marriage to Ranveer Singh. Let me tell you that the film will be released on 10 January 2020.
