Raipur: The number of corona infected people in Chhattisgarh has been steadily increasing, with lockdowns imposed in several districts, including the capital Raipur. On the other hand, it has been made mandatory for passengers coming to Chhattisgarh from other states to show a negative 72-hour RT-PCR corona report. A 360 bedded Covid Hospital has been set up by municipal corporation and Raipur Smart City Limited to provide timely treatment to corona infected people in Raipur.

The hospital has been constructed at the Indoor Stadium in Raipur, which was virtually inspected by CM Bhupesh Baghel on Monday. The Mayor of Raipur also interacted with CM Bhupesh Baghel. While meeting CM Baghel, he gave several information related to providing high-level medical assistance to covid patients. The hospital has been set up in just 4 days in view of the increasing infection in Raipur. All facilities are available in this hospital.

CM Baghel conducted a virtual inspection from his residence and enquired about the facilities of this temporary covid hospital built-in indoor stadium. Meanwhile, Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Kumar, who was present at Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium, apprised him of all arrangements made for the temporary Covid Hospital through the camera. Municipal commissioner Saurabh Kumar said the oxygen plant has been set up at the stadium itself in view of the increasing number of corona infected patients in Raipur.
