Raipur: Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has decided to renovate places related to Lord Ram. This decision of the Congress government has been welcomed by the BJP leaders. Ramvichar Netam, a Rajya Sabha MP and former minister of the state said that "Lord Ram belongs to everyone and everyone will gradually come under his shelter. However, he accused the Baghel government that the government was late in this work".

BJP leader Ramvichar says that "A wave is running across the country regarding Lord Ram. This is why people are happy. The BJP leaders considered it public pressure that the Bhupesh Baghel government of Chhattisgarh is renovating sites related to Lord Ram. BJP leaders say that Lord Ram is a symbol of the war against indiscipline and atrocities.

Former state minister and BJP leader Chandrashekhar Sahu have also termed this move of the Chhattisgarh government as laudable. But at the same time, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has described the work being done as his government's plan. Chandrashekhar Sahu, who was a minister in the Chhattisgarh government, has said that the then Raman Singh government had planned the Ram Van Gaman Path and took steps to develop the sites connected to it.
