Raipur: Bhupesh Baghel, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, expressed condolences on the death of Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (J) MLA Devwrat Singh on Thursday.

"Devwrat Singh Ji, MLA of Khairagarh and a prominent member of the royal family, died unexpectedly, resulting in a political loss for Chhattisgarh. May God grant him peace and strength to his family as they cope with their loss "In Hindi, the Chief Minister tweeted. 

Devwrat Singh died early this morning from cardiac arrest. In 2018, he joined Ajit Jogi's Janta Congress Chhattisgarh. As a member of the Janta Congress Chhattisgarh, he was elected to the State Legislative Assembly from Khairagarh in the 2018 election. Devwrat Singh, a member of the Khairagarh assembly constituency and a leader of the Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (J) party, died early this morning of cardiac arrest.
