Raipur: The situation in our country, which is facing the second wave of corona, is worsening. With the daily figures, the number of deaths is getting even more alarming. Meanwhile, the picture that has emerged from Rajnandgaon from Chhattisgarh clearly shows the situation. In fact, the body of those who died of corona in this district was not even found in the vehicle. Their bodies were taken away in a garbage dumper vehicle of nagar panchayat. Some people in the picture were seen carrying bodies in a garbage car wearing PPE kits.

On the other hand, to tackle bed shortage, the Press Club of Rajnandgaon has converted its campus into a corona centre where infected people are being treated free of cost. Members of the Press Club have arranged 30 beds for patients who are asymptomatic. A health department official said that 14,250 new corona cases were reported in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday and more than 120 deaths took place, taking the number of infected to 4,86,244 and the death toll to 5,307. More than 1.68 lakh cases have been reported in the state in the last one month and 1,417 people have lost their lives.

With the increase in the number of corona patients in the country's capital Delhi, the demand for oxygen has also increased. According to oxygen suppliers, delhi currently has a daily demand of 350-400 tonnes of oxygen. It is five times more than normal days. On normal days, oxygen is demanded only up to 80-100 tonnes. The demand is said to have increased due to the number of covid patients in hospitals.
