Sukma: In the Naxal-affected district Sukma of Chhattisgarh, Naxalites have killed two villagers at different places. Police officials in Sukma district said on Saturday that Muchaki Hidma in Kolomkonta village under Tongpal police station area of the district and Madavi Urra in Mukram village under Chintalnar police station area were killed by Naxalites.
According to the information received, the police officials said that the Naxalites killed both villagers on Friday night. The bodies were recovered on Saturday. Officials said that a group of armed Naxalites arrived at the youth's house on Friday, the night of 28 February 2020 and accused the youth of being a police informer. He said that Naxals later killed Hidma by strangling him. He said that when the Naxalites sought Hidma's mobile from Hidma's wife after executing the incident, his wife refused to give him the mobile. After this, the Naxalites allegedly beat the woman naked in front of the villagers.
Police officials said that when some villagers went to save the woman, the Naxalites beat them up and escaped from the spot. He said that on Saturday morning, Hidma's wife and other villagers filed a case against the Naxalites. In another incident, Naxalites reached the village of Madvi Urra in Mukram village under Chintalnar police station area and took it with them to the nearby forest, officials said. There he murdered Urra with a sharp weapon. Police officials said that Hidma and Urra were with the Naxalites till a few years ago. He has also lived in jail. He said that the police has started investigating the case and is searching for the Naxalites responsible for the murder.
