Chhattisgarh police have arrested five men for allegedly gang-raping a 15-year-old girl at her house in Raigarh district. When the incident happened the victim was alone at her house, Raigarh Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar Arawal said.

Reportedly, the girl's parents had gone to their farm to keep a watch on crops, meanwhile, the accused barged into her house and raped her. The accused were identified as Gocharan Rathiya (26), Sanjay Rathiya (19), Madhav Rathiya (21), Sugan Rathiya (21) and Nutan Rathiya (19). Meanwhile, the victim's elder sister managed to flee from the house by jumping through a window and informed her parents about the incident.
However, the police had lodged a case and further investigation in the case is underway.
In another incident from Gurugram, Haryana, a 58-year-old man suffered nearly 80 percent burns after a drunken man allegedly set his cigarette kiosk on fire while the victim was sitting inside the shop. Reportedly, the incident happened on Saturday evening in IMT Manesar after a fight over outstanding payments of cigarettes.
However, the police have registered against a case against an unidentified accused under sections 326 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 336 (act endangering life) and 427 (mischief causing damage) of the Indian Penal Code on Saturday at IMT Manesar police station.
