Chicken cooked in spices, rum and vinegar!
Ingredients
- 2 pieces of chicken
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 piece cinnamon
- 6 cloves
- 1 small piece ginger
- 5 green chillies
- chopped coriander
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 pieces of cardamom
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 4 tsp white rum
- 10 onion rings
- oil
Method
- Add salt to the chicken
- Cook it in water on high flame for about 3 minutes
- Grind the coriander, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, green chillies, garlic, cumin seeds, cardamom, vinegar and white rum to a nice paste.
- Add the paste, onion rings and two tbsps of oil to the cooking chicken and cook on low flame.
- After about ten minutes add two more tbsps of oil and white rum.
- Simmer on fire till all the water evaporates and the chicken is ready.
- Serve hot.
