Dehradun: Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Tuesday that a close watch would be kept on suspicious people coming to the Chardham Yatra area. Not only this, on the basis of the complaints received, the government will soon conduct a verification drive of outsiders in this area.

In Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Dhami has taken a big step regarding the Chardham Yatra starting from next month. In fact, in the past, the saints had demanded that the entry of non-Hindus in the Chardham Yatra area should be banned. On this, Chief Minister Dhami said that this matter is in the notice of the government and action will be taken as per rules.

Along with this, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that people will be verified before going on Chardham Yatra. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that due to the Chardham Yatra, arrangements would be made for all the pilgrims coming to the state from neighboring states including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi for verification. So that the situation can be dealt with in case of any kind of disorder in Chardham Yatra. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami did not talk about keeping the verification system for any particular religion.
