The 'Namaste Trump' program was hugely organized in India. 100 crore rupees but not only Rs. 12.5 crores have been spent in this huge event. Of this, Rs 4.50 crore has been spent by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. State Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has made this clear. US President Donald Trump became a guest of Gujarat on Monday. He came directly from America with his convoy at Ahmedabad Airport in Gujarat. Here Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Governor and the Chief Minister of the state welcomed him warmly at the airport.

According to media reports, before this, the discussion on the arrival and reception of the trump in the state had become a 'Taka of Town'. It was discussed inside and outside the assembly. On this, the Chief Minister of the state Vijay Rupani took cognizance in the assembly and said that on arrival of the trump, the Gujarat government has allocated only eight crore rupees. 100 crore has not been spent on this, nor has been allocated.

Apart from this, the CM said that the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation had allocated Rs 4.50 crore for the program of Namaste Trump. He made it clear that the program was organized not by the Gujarat government but by the 'Namaste Trump Citizens' Committee'. It is noteworthy that before Trump's arrival in Gujarat, special attention was paid to various babes including repairs on his travel route in Ahmedabad. Various works including repair of roads, footpaths and paint lacquer were completed. Millions of people, including Ahmedabad, were present at the time of Trump's arrival at the world's largest Motera Stadium. Discussion of his arrival was not only in the newspapers of Gujarat or the country but was also a matter of discussion in the foreign media. The US Washington Post also mentioned Trump's arrival in India and his welcome.
